I am a 1940’s soul in the body of a modern-day mama. I enjoy anything creative, especially singing and sewing. A former music education teacher, I have taken my experiences working nine years with middle schoolers to guide and love on my two preschool age children, who will be referred to as Petite and Cowboy. I’m a melancholy personality married to a sanguine, and God is using my marriage to grow me in spontaneity and joy. What is most important to me is “to walk in a manner that is worthy of the Gospel of Christ” Philippians 1:27).
A little more insight
I recently walked through the valley of postpartum depression and am alive today to share my story in hopes to encourage others through their possible dark times. I am not a licensed professional or counselor, but confidently felt God calling me to let others know how powerful He can work in and through earthen vessels. There might be nay-sayers out there, but God’s word is a light to all people regardless of background.
If you believe you or a loved one has an emergency, please call 9-1-1 immediately to get help. I’ve been there and have needed to follow through on this caution. And I only benefitted from it.
